LIFE-HISTORY OF THE UNSUNG HERO OF HAZARA KHAN MUHAMMAD JALAL-UD-DIN
Abstract
The current research work is about the life and contribution of Khan Muhammad Jalal-UdDin, commonly known as Jalal Baba. Being a public figure, his heroic struggle for creating Pakistan in the Hazara region under the banner of the All-India Muslim League paved the way to achieve their destiny. His contribution to the land and people of Hazara has remained insignificant and worthless. Being a member of the Committee set up to make certain arrangements to conduct a referendum in Hazara, he became a force and moving spirit behind the Muslim League in the Hazara district. The present work is a humble attempt to highlight some phases of his life and struggle. Like a professional driver, sportsman, businessman, leader, social reformer, and politician his achievements are numerous to be recounted, and his traits are praiseworthy. Baba was a popular leader and a devoted soldier of Quaid-i-Azam. His selfless efforts and courageous struggle brought him the high and honorable position. The study data is from primary and secondary sources, including newspapers, interviews of his relatives, experts, and internet sources.
